mindfulness & microdosing

A 5-week course combining Mindfulness and Psilocybin to Help You Return to Wholeness and Explore Your Inner World in a Safe, Compassionate, and Integrative way

thursdays, sept. 26 - oct. 24
7:00 - 9:00 P.M. PsT
PNW Integrative center, pdx

In its fullest expression, mindfulness meditation is a full-bodied, heart-centered practice that allows you to step behind the stories, thoughts, and judgments of the mind and experience the freedom, stillness, and joy of everyday living. The purpose is not to transcend or conquer the body, but to inhabit it more fully.

In this course we will be using microdoses of psilocybin, or mushrooms, as a tool to aid in our return to wholeness. When paired together, psilocybin and meditation amplify each other, providing greater depth, access to feelings, rest from the mind, and compassionate insight.

This class is ideal for those new to psilocybin who want a more gradual entry and process. It’s also valuable for those who have done a larger journey and are looking for ways to integrate their experience into daily life. No prior meditation or psilocybin experience is required.

In this course we’ll cover:

Week 1: Go Slow to Go Fast (meditation only)
Why mushrooms are more than just a sensational experience, and how to set yourself up for success

Week 2: It’s Not What You Think
The importance of the body and how to find your roots when the mind cannot take charge

Week 3: Energy In Motion
How to feel and expand the range and depth of emotions without getting caught in the story

Week 4: Surrendering as Strength
Why surrender is not a weakness, and what to do when you meet resistance

Week 5: Your Own Mycelium Network
What mushrooms teach us about our interconnectivity

cost: $249

I came to Missy through a recommendation by my therapist to pursue a meditation practice. In the past I'd struggled to get into a rhythm with meditation and often found myself lost in how to make meditation a part of my life. Missy provided an easy and judgment free group meditation course that navigated me through the basics of meditation and helped me implement a practice in my daily routine. The course was deep, but approachable and has helped me grow my own personal meditation practice beyond what I thought was possible.
